It’s safe to say that running an events agency in 2020 was definitely a lot more difficult than we anticipated! All around the world, we saw major events like the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Glastonbury Festival being cancelled, so we know we’ve been fortunate to even host events at all this year.

For us, events are more than just a job. They are a chance to bring people together and create lasting memories, and we’ve appreciated this so much more this year.

These have been difficult times for many, and we want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has attended our events and come together in a safe and happy environment. We know that we are incredibly lucky to have been able to host our events and get together with friends and family when so many people around the world haven’t been able to.

We’re always willing to learn and adapt to new challenges and that’s why we want to look back on all the things COVID-19 has taught us about events.

To stay up-to-date

We don’t think we’ve ever watched the news so much! But 2020 has shown us that having up-to-date knowledge of the latest restrictions is imperative. Knowing the rules has allowed us to continue our events when it has been safe to do so, and we’ve been thrilled to bring people together during these difficult times.

To be adaptable

If 2020 has taught us all one thing, it’s to be adaptable to change. Everything can change in an instant so we’ve learned to be flexible, creative and try to expand on our existing skills to solve any problems that may arise.

To be patient

2020 has been frustrating in many ways but we can’t forget the devastation it has caused for people. With events, our aim is to bring a bit of brightness and togetherness during this strange time so though our problems have seemed like big obstacles at the time, we focus on perspective and gratitude for what we have, being patient with whatever comes our way.

To be clean

Although our events have always been clean, we’ve most certainly upped our procedures. There have also been new contenders to the event field - social distancing and hand sanitizer ensure our events are clean and COVID safe!
